AccessEdTech
Originally starting as a SAT tutoring project to assist low income students in achieving the goal of higher education, we realized that there were vastly more efficient and superior online resources compared to the slow pace of in person tutoring we were doing. While tutoring is important, we realized that many of the same low income students we were trying to assist did not have personal computers to utilize these online resources. Hence, the start of AccessEdTech which is a branch of UNI that specializes in providing educational technology to lower income bracket students.

What we do
AccessEdTech by UNI was founded by avid volunteer workers who realized that the best form of tutoring and helping the disadvantaged student succeed was providing them with the tools to learn on their own or "fish for themselves." From this philosophy, we have committed ourselves to fundraising and using e-waste for the purpose of refurbishing and donating educational technology to those who need it the most.
Fundraising
Through recieving grants, fundarisers, and our Media campaign, our 100% student run team raises funds to donate from the ground up.
Refurbishing Technology
With the funds from our fundraisers and e-waste donations, we refurbish and fix computers so that they can be used by students and educational facilities.
Educational Tech Donations
After Fundraising and refurbishing technology, we ensure that highly functional and useful technology ends up in the hands that need it most for no cost.
